I was at the party.

It looked more … life a funeral.

We had lots of food, nice alcoholic drinks, cakes, beautiful music … 2 ladies serving us … but still all looked life a … funeral.

Everyone was there … with the partner.

… with kids also.

I was looking around … and i could see only unhappy faces.

Especially… the ladies.

Unhappy wives.

Unhappy husbands.

The clear reflection … of the catastrophe of being married.

But … suddenly John asks me to come with him with the boat on the lake.

Few other ladies came … asking to join us.

I think it was me … John … and 6–7 unhappy wives.

Before we’ve started the journey on the lake … John says … “Ladies … let’s all drink a glass of whiskey … and change our vibes.”

And … most of them … drunk 2 glasses of whiskey.

I’ve started the music.

John started the boat.

And ladies started to dance.

Enjoying all.

Away from husbands …. they started to laugh …. be happy … dancing and enjoying the short trip on the lake.

I could not believe it.

10 minutes before … I thought i was at a funeral.

… and now i was at a party.

Away from their husbands …. all those ladies … were totally charged.

I saw them … enjoying the moment itself.

Most certainly … it was all … a weird paradox … jumping from unhappiness to happiness …. changing only few details from the story.

So … we’ve enjoyed the lake for an hour … then we came back again to John’s house.

And … again … i saw the ladies …. unhappy.

And … that atmosphere of … funeral.

It was … so, so illogical.

Into the end …. I’ve excused myself and left … saying to John … “I am sorry my friend …. I just don’t like funerals. So … i go”.

But John understood my metaphor.

… it was all weird.

A true story.

And …
